2.Pedagogical Contents

After observation, please write a report on school pedagogical contents (where you were placed for practicum) according to topics as follows:

1.1 Teaching methods

the first week I watched Mr. class Bob. I entered every class he taught. There are a total of 12 classes from Monday to Friday. The learning materials used by the teacher are teacher guidance books, computers, slide presentations, direct media, and other technologies for teaching. But this technology can only be given by the teacher, because students are not allowed to bring laptops, cellphones and other gadgets. He tried to encourage students to participate in the learning process. He began teaching by explaining clearly the lessons to be discussed. Then, he introduces some vocabulary related to the topic to students and asks them to say the vocabulary after about three times. Finally, to evaluate students' understanding of the lessons given, he distributed worksheets. home work to students and assign them to do it.

1.2 Learning materials and innovation

Learning resources are based on school textbooks for English, the books are guided by Oxford University, some teachers have electronic books, and educational websites, worksheets and additional sheets are made on their own depending on the subject matter. Some teachers use laptops and power points to teach in classrooms.

.

1.3 Sources of learning and technology

Most teachers use books and other printed materials as learning resources. In some conditions, the teacher also uses concrete objects such as matters related to the topic being discussed. For example, when the topic is about 'discovery', the teacher will bring a number of items such as laptops, flashdisks, etc. that are in accordance with the material. Given the fact that teachers are recommended to use various media such as projectors, LCDs and computers, Mr. Bob didn't use it because he said he preferred to use printed material and write items on the board even though the media was ready. available in each class. but Mr. Bob rarely employs. because according to him. less effective

1.4 Authentic assessment

I asked Mr. Bob. about valuation and he told me that the assessment lies in two main components. They are student tests and achievements. The exam consists of middle and final examinations and student performance consists of assignments, student participation in their class and worksheet. Teachers use cognitive, affective, and psychomotor to assess students. It can be concluded that teachers assess students based on their ability to apply what they have learned in class.

1.5 What I have learned and what can be applied

I will use the media instead of just using printed material so that it can be more interactive and interesting. Also, I will play some games at the beginning to attract students' attention and focus
